About Us
MKS Global Trading Limited was incorporated with the objectives of processing copper ore.
The finishing product of copper ingots will be subsequently exported primarily to the United Kingdom (UK) . The customer in the UK is an important component with an existing distribution network, which includes Network Rail and National Grid who are both multinational companies.
We have also researched potential opportunities including the manufacturing of related metal products including components and sub-assemblies.
Products
There is immense copper ore deposits located in the regional area Iringa and Dodoma. The site of the copper processing plant is based in an industrial area of Iringa, the project comprises of onsite smelter furnace to produce copper blisters from copper ore.
Our technical requirements of our prospective customers are blister copper ingots of 91% – 99.5% purity.
Amount of Ore per tonne
This will depend on the quality of copper ore but as a rule of thumb, we are looking to achieve copper grades between 18-25%. This will give us a copper blister value of around 18-25kgs per tonne.
Operations
Processing Chain
We are looking at copper blister quality of 96-98.5% purity. The process involves the conversion of copper ore through a smelting process to primary metal.

MKS Global Trading Limited has a network of companies from the production, warehousing, transport, shipping right through to end user. The company will be mainly exporting to the UK market.
Equipment
We will soon be taking delivery of our brand new smelter furnace that will be able to produce copper blisters / ingots at the rate of 4 tonnes per hour.
